Ridley Township man arrested in Folcroft drug case

Folcroft police issued this statement Saturday:

“On Friday, members of the Folcroft Police AntiCrime Unit led by Officer Kesser along with the assistance of members of the Delaware County District Attorney’s Office Drug Task Force arrested Alvis Mapp of Ridley Township after Mapp sold narcotics to an undercover officer.”

During a search of Mapp’s apartment, police seized 689 grams of cocaine, 4 pounds of methamphetamine, $2,837, and a firearm, the department said.

Court records show Mapp was committed to the Delaware County prison, the George W. Hill Correctional Facility, in lieu of 10% of $200,000 bail after arraignment Friday night before District Judge Walter A. Strohl on charges of manufacture, delivery, or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance and related offenses.
